THIRTY-FIVE MINUTES FROM RED BAY, AL
RED BAY, AL · OUR ROOM, YOUR DAY
Why Red Bay couples choose The Stables of Harp Farm.
Red Bay couples have a shorter drive to The Stables of Harp Farm than to most of the venues showing up in their search. The Mississippi line is fifteen minutes west, and the farm sits twenty minutes past it on Highway 25, on 300 acres just north of the Monroe County line in Smithville.
The barn is climate-controlled, 6,000 square feet, and built into the bones of a 1980s riding stable. Seven semi-private dining stables, a grand gathering room, white linens, chiffon chairs, an Amish-built carriage at the door, and the in-house sound system are all included in the rental.
The outdoor chapel sits under the trees a short walk from the barn door, with a cross at the end of the aisle and pews built into the ground. The cottage out back is a 1953 farmhouse with two bedrooms for the bride and her people. The whole day lives on one property, which Red Bay families appreciate when the guest list is split between Alabama and Mississippi.
