TWENTY MINUTES NORTH OF AMORY

AMORY, MS · OUR ROOM, YOUR DAY

Why Amory couples choose The Stables of Harp Farm.

Amory brides have a closer option than most of the venues their search has been turning up. The Stables of Harp Farm is twenty minutes north on Highway 25, in Smithville, on a 300-acre family farm that Buck and Susan have been opening to local weddings for years.

The barn is a rebuilt 1980s riding stable, 6,000 square feet of climate-controlled space with seven semi-private dining stables and a grand gathering room. Tables, white linens, chiffon-covered chairs, the in-house sound system, and a handmade Amish carriage are all included in the rental.

The outdoor chapel sits under the trees with built-in pews and a cross at the end of the aisle. The cottage out back is a 1953 farmhouse with two bedrooms and a porch for the bridal party. Everything is on one property, which means the bride is not driving anywhere in her dress.
